The Physics & Astronomy Department has recently voted to exclude the use of the Physics GRE score in its admissions process. However, this decision has yet to be approved by the campus. This means that the Physics GRE is required for admission to our Physics & Astronomy graduate program. Importantly, the graduate admissions committee will not factor this score in their application reviews. We are working to remove Physics GRE from the list of requirements for graduate admission and stop accepting the Physics GRE score as part of the application.
