A student may be admitted under one of two possible options: GRE revised scores of 308, 153, 155, and 4 for the combined, verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing components, respectively, are advisable based on our experience with student success in the progra; GRE revised scores of at least 315, 156, 159, and 4 for the combined, verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing components, respectively, are advisable based on our experience with student success in the program. The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is required if applying to the Naveen Jindal School of Management and the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) revised General Test is required if applying to all other schools except the School of Arts and Humanities.The GRE revised general test is offered on a year-round basis at regional testing centers in a computer-based testing (CBT) format.For the M.S. program, a minimum GRE score of 1200 (verbal plus quantitative) is acceptable. For the Ph.D. program, a minimum GRE score of 1300 (verbal plus quantitative) is acceptable. Applicants with borderline scores who also have a high GPA may still be considered by the admissions committee.
