Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit Internet-Based Test Of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) scores. The University of Illinois Graduate College sets the minimum acceptable TOEFL iBT score of 79 for admission to graduate programs at Illinois. Scores between 79 and 102 earn the applicant "limited status admission", requiring further training in English language skills, on campus, following admission to a graduate program.
