Systems engineering of crop production introduce the point of view of system theory into crop production science, and guide students to study and establish the system thinking in crop cultivation and management, plant breeding, quality control of farm products, as a result, a good foundation should be established and it should be benefit to the rapid growth of the students. The teaching contents can be divided three types and six sections. The three types is system theory and techniques in crop production, system theory and techniques in regional crop production, and system theory and techniques in field crop production; Six sections include: system optimizing theory and techniques in crop production, optimization design of regional crop production system, system theory and techniques in plant breeding, system management in crop cultivation, system analysis in field material cycling, system control of farm products in quality and safety.
