World economy generally refers to international economic relationships and global economic problems. This course not only studies fundamental principles of world economy and development process, but also covers various topics, which include general situation and popular issues of world economy, analysis on economic trends of important countries and regions. This course also discusses globalization, regional economic integration, international trade, finance, investment and their impact on world economy. Through intensive study on world economy, students will learn the latest development of world economy in detail. The students will apply theories and tools into the real problems and contradictories of world economy. Moreover this course provides the students with valuable perspectives and ideas in furture world economy or regional economy researches.

国际经济与贸易（简称“国贸”）是研究国际贸易发生的原因、国际贸易政策、国际贸易实务、跨国投资以及国际贸易与经济发展关系的一门学科。 国际经济与贸易专业培养能较系统地掌握经济学基本原理和国际经济、国际贸易的基本理论，掌握国际贸易的基本知识和基本技能。了解本国对外贸易和当代国际经济贸易的发展现状，熟悉通行的国际贸易惯例与WTO规则，以及本国对外贸易的政策法规，了解主要国家与地区的对外贸易状况，能在涉外经济贸易部门、外资企业及政府机构和科研院所从事国际经济与贸易业务、管理、调研与教学科研等工作的复合型、应用型的高级专门人才。
