This course takes the changes in the political field of modernization as the main thread and Marxism of political development as the guideline, and adopts the rational factors from Western political theory. This course analyzes the major events and important representatives in China's modern political development process, for example, party politics and political development in the early age of the Republic of China, May 4th political culture and the political development of China, Deng Xiaoping Theory and Contemporary Chinese political development, Comparative study of political development in contemporary China and Russia. This course also focuses on legalization process and political culture on political development.
